We took a last minute trip to Pinedale to see where J spent many summers getting into trouble with his 500 cousins. It was gorgeous! There were 7 other kids for E to run around with. There was a playground set, sand and dirt to dig in, a barn to explore, a hammock and tire to swing on, an under-the-stairwell-built-in playhouse and Leapster games to borrow. I think she was in heaven. By the end she was SO dirty and SO tired but that just meant it was SO much fun for her.

This is where we stayed. Kinda nice, huh?

E and all her new friends making a made dash to the fence because they all heard"Baa's" and saw a horse tail and had to go investigate.

Cousin Rustin's wife Lisa taking the kids on a ride around the land. Unfortunately it stalled so the girls had a nice walk back to the house.

My turn to drive (first time ever), yeah!
It was a good trip. The girls had more room than usual because we drove ...

THIS, our new (used) car. Peter Passat died of unknown causes this past week and so joining Ivy in our vehicular family is...Willow. We are a car-naming family. Love it or ignore it. We left on our trip 2 hours after signing for her. Nice way to celebrate, eh?
(disclaimer: this is a stock photo because I was too lazy to take a picture of our car out of the garage for a nice photo)
