Next we headed home and helped Daddy pass out candy. She loved seeing the other kids in their costumes and our black light was a hit with anyone wearing white.

Happy Halloween!
I was all set this year to make E a cute Minnie Mouse but then grandma showed up with this beautiful lion costume, which, given E's obsession with Lion King worked out just about perfect. She practiced her roar for weeks before our trick-or-treating adventures.

Despite me being sick, we made it down one street to give E the full trick-or-treating experience. She loved showing off her roar and seeing all of the "silly guy decorations" (the scary ones). We even saw a real python (thankfully in a tank). Next year we will have to stress Halloween etiquette since she still thought it was ok to help herself to a fistful of candy instead of waiting politely to be handed some.
