This first band was playing on Beale Street in the Pepsi-Cola Pavilion. As you can see, they were getting the crowd up and dancing with their rendition of We Got The Funk.
We heard this next band at the Ground Zero Blues Club as we were leaving the Beale Street area and liked them so much we payed the cover charge to sit awhile and enjoy their music. It may be hard to believe, but it's the drummer belting this tune out. The kid 2nd from the right joined them just for a couple of songs. He must have been a local/friend of the band and he definitely held his own.
